Irish Sun (TB) - Irish Sun (TB) is a real quality 1988 16.2h bay broodmare. Straight, correct, nice head and neck. She throws big babies, is really easy to deal with, and is an excellent mother. Very low maintenance. She is current on all of her vaccines, including West Nile and Rabies. She is also easy to deal with the farrier, veterinarian, dentist, etc. Trish is very docile, and very big. She throws babies with substance, that will hold up very well for the over fences and the flat classes. Her babies have been bay with little white out of three different stallions, and all have shown her same docile nature. They are really nice trotters, and great lopers. Her babies have been level headed, with sweet personalities. Trish has not had any babies to show to date. Trish has won close to $20,000 in races during her career. Trish is currently in foal to The Last Captive for a February 2004 foal. The Last Captive is the 2002 Congress Champion Jr Hunter Under Saddle winner, and the 2002 AQHA High Point Hunter Under Saddle Stallion. His foals are eligible for the AQHA IF, International Hunter Futurity, NSBA, Just For Pleasure, Tom Powers, etc. His first foals have started coming, and are beautiful. Trish would be an excellent choice for a Hunter Under Saddle breeding program. She would also work well in programs that would emphasize fences classes, dressage, or eventing. She would cross well with AQHA, APHA, Appaloosa, or Warmblood stallions. She is an easy breeder, with no major maintenance needs. She was left open for 2003 due to the late foaling in 2002.
